The Director of Alertnet and ENA will be a central component of Trust.org - the TR portal encompassing all of the Foundation's activities. Key among these will be Alert.net and its major development to embrace an important new initiative, the Emergency News Agency (ENA). Whereas Alert.net has and will continue to bring news and information to NGOs helping them to coordinate their activities and respond to crises, the ENA will add a new dimension to disaster relief by rapidly sending journalists to the field of disaster to inform the local populations.
