JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be joining NHSBT at an exciting time of change to how organ donation services are managed and delivered across the UK. The UK currently has one of the worst donor rates in Western Europe and a Department of Health Taskforce published a report earlier this year detailing 14 recommendations to improve donation rates which were accepted by all four UK health departments for implementation. NHSBT is responsible for the delivery of several of the recommendations and in supporting the delivery of others.
